San Pedro del Pinatar has 14 km of beaches distributed between two seas, the Mar Menor and the the Mediterranean Sea. Its strategic location on the coast and its environmental qualities have made it a very sought after residential area.
In addition to well-kept beaches, the port and a comprehensive range of services, San Pedro del Pinatar has a unique natural space, the nature park of Las Salinas and Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar. This is a wetland where one can find flamingos, gulls, herons, albatross and owls; and shifting dunes with characteristic flora; sea lilies, rushes and reeds.
The town of San Pedro del Pinatar, as well as its main hub, is made up of seventeen small villages such as El Mojón, Las Salinas, Los Sáez or Lo Pagán. The last area, Lo Pagán, is the most important due to its large tourism development.
The most important beach in Lo Pagán is at La Puntica, with picturesque facilities like huts and a spa which go into the sea, as well as an extensive range of leisure opportunitie.
